What happens if a Guest cancels their contract?

According to the Happipad contract:

  • Either party may cancel the living arrangement any time before the Start Date.
  • If the Host cancels the living arrangement before the start date, the Security Deposit will be refunded to the Guest.
  • If the Guest cancels the living arrangement more than one month before the start date, the Security Deposit will be refunded to the Guest, minus a $50 administrative fee payable to Happipad.
  • If the Guest cancels the Living Arrangement less than one month before the start date, the Security Deposit will be disbursed to the Host, less a $50 administrative fee payable to Happipad. For greater certainty, the Guest will not be entitled to a refund of the Security Deposit.
